The Hawksbill turtle is one of many animals on the criticallly endanged list. If it is not protected it will soon be wiped out for good.
This denim animal is designed to raise awareness of this problem and at the same time raise money for the support in conservation charity that protects these species.
 
Hawksbill turtles have unique shell patterns where each hexgon interlinks and creates as jagged edge to the shell. This pattern and colour makes the shell highly-valuable on the black market.
They eat sponges, sea anemones and jelly fish which live on the coral reefs, thus maintaining the health of these areas.
These animals are fundamental links to the marine ecosystems and need protection from extinction.
